ABOUT US AT GET-A-GRIP MARINE BOAT SAFETY HANDLES

Boating and being on the water is a very vital part of our lives. There is a connection with the water that is undescribable.
My wife and I are older now, and can share our joy with grandchildren.
But I noticed a problem. My wife and the little ones had trouble getting in the boat after swimming; especially when currents or waves rock the boat. It often became necessary for me to help my family and friends aboard for their safety.
I came up with the idea of adding grab-handles when I had to manage the boat and could not lend my wife a helping hand to get back on board the boat when rain started and we had to head back to land.
Get-A-Grip Boat Boarding Handles were developed to assist all my guests to easily get in and out of the water while I was safely navigating the boat.
Our boat boarding safety grab handles are use all around the world with recreational boaters, as well as charter boats. It only makes sense, if we can all help our boat guests get on and off the boat safer, then everyone is a winner! How many people share the love of the water with older adults? Would it be nice to give them something to grab onto when getting in and out of the water? Sure it would!

In this picture, we can see our Founder, Larry with first versions of the Get-a-Grip Grab Handles. These are the prototypes to today's version. We have made several different sizes and angles to fit 95% of the boats. Visit our Shop All Page to see all the Boat Boarding Handles available.

I started to look for a product to help my crew because the standard assist handles weren't working. When I was unable to find what I wanted, I devoted my time and work shop to design and create the Get-a-Grip boarding assist handles.
My wife needed better leverage to lift herself up and the kids said they needed a great big handle to help them come on board easier. They got what they asked for, a large hand hold at the transom, where we need it. This big sturdy handle is attached to the boat so it won't break loose when a strain is applied as its being used. I made it portable and light weight and designed it to float if inadvertently dropped overboard.
The smiles and thumbs up reaction to this solution was a great motivator and encouraged me to further develop and refine these products. When you use one of our products you will see the advantages and safety features I talk about. You will also know that these products are developed to give you, and your loved ones, a helping hand. Have fun out there and be safe.
